Last week, our organization had the opportunity to participate in the 2024 Humanitarian Program Cycle (HPC) workshop, held at the OCHA office in Yola. This two-day event was a crucial part of planning humanitarian responses for the upcoming year, as it focused on the validation of data collection exercises and setting the course for 2025.

Our representative, Mr Micheal Sanni was designated to contribute to the Health Sector’s cluster activities during the workshop. As a key player in the sector, we engaged in discussions and collaborative efforts with other stakeholders to ensure that health priorities are well integrated into the humanitarian action plan for 2025. This includes addressing critical health needs in crisis-affected communities, particularly in areas prone to disease outbreaks and public health challenges.

The workshop brought together representatives from various sectors and organizations involved in humanitarian aid, making it a platform for sharing insights and experiences. We discussed the latest data collected from the field, analyzed gaps in services, and began drafting a coordinated response to enhance the overall humanitarian effort in the region.

As we move forward, our organization is committed to contributing to effective and impactful humanitarian interventions, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive the health support they need.
