LESGO Conducts Medical Outreach to Communities in Madagali and Yola South LGA.

Preventing disease outbreaks is a core goal of our lean season project. During the outreach, our team focused on promoting preventative healthcare practices, recognizing that proactive care is as essential as treatment. Through health education and hands-on support, we are helping community members understand basic hygiene, sanitation, and disease prevention practices.

LESGO Conducts Bank ATM Card Distribution and Account Opening for Beneficiaries in Girei LGA of Adamawa State.

Last week, we conducted bank account opening and ATM card distribution for beneficiaries of our Multi-Purpose Cash Assistance (MPCA) project, funded by the Nigeria Humanitarian Fund (NHF) and supported by OCHA. In partnership with Moniepoint, this milestone ensures families affected by recent floods can access upcoming cash assistance securely while promoting financial inclusion and dignity.

LESGO Responds to the Adamawa Flood Crisis in Yola South

On July 27, 2025, devastating flash floods tore through parts of Yola South Local Government Area in Adamawa State following a prolonged and intense rainfall. The overflowing of a nearby dam submerged multiple communities including Yolde Parte, Shagari, Sabon Pege, and Modire. As of the latest reports, over 25 lives have been lost, 11 people are still missing, and more than 5,500 individuals have been displaced.
